The 1058 Waxed Canvas Drover is a foldable outback hat made from premium waxed canvas, with a chin cord and 3 inches of brim all the way around. It’s handcrafted in Minnesota and comes with a free travel bag and sizing kit.

Waxed canvas has a look all its own. The wax helps the canvas shed water, and it darkens and takes marks as you wear it. Scratches, creases and scuffs show up easily, and that’s on purpose: they’re part of the design and look. Over time the hat starts to tell you where it’s been.

That makes it a working hat. Wear it splitting wood, walking fence lines, fishing a river in a drizzle or hiking a muddy trail in early spring. It’s lightweight, water resistant and has 50+ UV protection. The chin cord keeps it on when the wind picks up.

It folds into the supplied travel bag, too. That’s handy for a camping trip or a drive across the country.

Colors are Brown, Natural, Field Tan and Sage. Field Tan and Sage have an outdoorsy, earthy feel.
