It’s been quite awhile since I purchased this hat. It has held up well and the wide brim keeps the sun and rain off my head and face. It is simple but still has some style. I can recommend this for anyone needing a good sun hat.

I just ordered a new replacement for my old extra wide brimmed canvas cooler. My old one has been worn regularly for over 20 years – maybe 25. It has served me spectacularly and I’m still wearing it today. I have purchased a couple of less expensive hats over the years because I couldn’t find another like mine, but none have been as comfortable as my Barmah and I always ended up back wearing it.
The braided leather band shrunk over the years (or my head grew) but I just loosened it in the back and it’s been fine. It even still has the original cord! What hat last 20+ years working out in the Texas heat? A Barmah hat does!! That’s why I’m ordering another one. I searched for the name from the metal tag on my hat band and I was so glad to locate your website.
